Yoga is a practice that is truly for every BODY, including yours. Adaptive yoga is a style of yoga that modifies poses to make them accessible to people of all ages, stages, and fitness levels, including those with injuries and/or chronic conditions. It utilizes props like chairs, blocks, and straps, along with multiple modifications and breathing techniques to create a safe and inclusive practice that can enhance flexibility, balance, strength, and overall well-being. Join yoga teacher Angie Miller and a Louisville resident on January 31st for a FREE 90-minute community workshop that will allow participants to explore a yoga practice that is truly for themselves. Whether you choose to stay seated, on a mat, or standing, this class will promote a greater awareness of self through mindful movement and deep breathing. No previous experience is necessary.
