About this Event
Our 6 week Bomba Drum workshop is taught in a family non competitive environment, where each student is given individual attention. Student will learn the basic rhytms, timing, drills and history with Mater percusionists Oreste Abrantes and Billy T.
Class starts Saturday October 22nd - December 3rd 2022 *
NO CLASS THANKSGIVING WEEKEND*
Time: 11am
Location: The Point 940 Garrison Ave, Bronx. NY.
FEE: There is a ONE TIME registration fee of $10.00 The 6th week workshop is free.
Ages: 7 and up. (less than 7 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian in the class)
Attire: Loose comfortable clothes. Sneakers/ shoes a must.
DRUMS: available first come first serve. Feel free to bring your own drum
COVID-19 Requirements: students must have a Negative test and/ or present no COVID-19 Symptoms.
Masks: Highly sugested.
