The New Testament is a captivating collection of books, letters, and stories that together narrate the ongoing story of God and His mission in our world. Over the course of four weeks, we will explore key elements that enhance our understanding of these sacred texts, that we know as God's Word.
We will delve into the rich cultural and historical context of the New Testament, examining the authors of each book and the original communities they addressed. Together, we will uncover major teachings and theological themes, as well as the challenges faced by early church communities. From the accounts of Jesus’ life and teachings in the Gospels to the letters written to early Christian communities and concluding with insights from the fascinating book of Revelation, we hope to deepen our love and appreciation for scripture allowing them to shape our lives today.
