123 Magic and Emotion Coaching for Parents FREE Workshop in November
123 Magic is an evidence-based model of parenting, based on positivity, understanding behaviour and motivation.
This program has 3 workshops in total - it's best to attend all 3!
The skills learnt in this program have the goal of creating a loving, nurturing and supportive family atmosphere through the following principles:
- Foundations of brain psychology - what initiates response and stress
- How your child's brain works and develops in response to stress
- Difficult/challenging behaviours: How to respond??
- Behaviour management and what this looks like
- Strategies for encouraging emotional regulation
Learn knowledge and skills to assist with challenging behaviours, while strengthening your relationships with your children.
This program will be delivered by staff who are trained in this technique and have holistic and varied experience working with people with disabilities, families, youth, carers and diverse communities.
At the end of each session, there will be creative mindfulness activities that will help you to reflect on the course content as well as relieve stress and tension
Child-minding can be provided - this will be confirmed closer to the workshop dates.

Please note that this workshop is for parents and carers of children who live/go to school in Strathfield, Homebush, Burwood and the surrounding Inner West, inclusive of Canterbury, Campsie (some parts of Canterbury Bankstown Council) and Canada Bay.
