The Soul Yoga Festival 2022 Awards Ceremony Dinner will kick off on Friday, August 26th from 6:30 - 10 pm at the YogaSkills Studio in Bronzeville, the home and origin of Kemetic Yoga, at 4507 S. Indiana Chicago IL, 60653. The dinner will be honoring:

Dr. Berlina Baker - Lifetime Achievement Award

Master Babu Atiba - Lifetime Achievement Award

Pilan Anku Xi Amaru - Outstanding Kemetic Yoga Instructor

Gaile C. Ferguson - Outstanding Kemetic Yoga Instructor

Dr. Anika Daniels-Osaze - Outstanding Contribution to Kemetic Yoga

The following day, Saturday, August 27th from 9 am - 6 pm, the Soul Yoga Festival will continue at the Fuller Park Field House at 331 W. 45th St. Chicago IL, 60609. The Festival is a free outdoor festival featuring Yoga, Wellness, and Culture that is open to all ages and levels. Saturday will feature complimentary yoga classes for children, adults, and seniors, as well as Master Classes by Master Yirser Ra Hotep and guest instructors from 9 am - 6 pm. Entertainment by the United Pros Breakdance and Acrobats Team​ and others will be in appearance.A Vendors Market will also include health and life enhancement products and services.

The Soul Yoga Fest was created by Master Yirser Ra Hotep (Elvrid Lawrence), founder of YogaSkills School of Kemetic Yoga and leader of the global Kemetic Yoga (Ancient Egyptian) movement for the past 47 years. Soul Yoga Fest is presented in partnership with the Chicago Park District to introduce yoga, wellness, movement, and other wholistic health practices to underserved communities that normally don’t have access to them.
