The main points in the class are about the major losses insurance companies have sustained, how underwriting guidelines have become more strict, how rates have increased, and what homebuyers and their agents should look for when getting home insurance.
Agents will have a better understanding of what is happening in the insurance industry so they can explain the increase in rates and stricter underwriting guidelines to their clients. They will also be able to advise them on what type of coverage to get for a new home purchase and what factors to consider when looking to put an offer on a house.
