Join us as we welcome local crime writer Frederick Petford to Yatton Library.
Frederick is the author of The Ghosts of Passchendaele, a supernatural crime thriller set in a remote Cotswold village at the end of the First World War.
It’s been described as ‘Downton Abbey with ghosts!’ and is based on an astonishing true story discovered in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission archives. It was published at the end of 2021. A sequel, The Death of Conscience, followed in 2022. The third instalment in the Great Tew series, A Question of Malice is due to be published this October.

About the venue
The event will take place in the Wake Worlock Room, on the first floor of Yatton Library. The room is accessible by stairs or lift. There are toilet/changing facilities available on site.
