Fay launched THE COUNTESS OF FIFE as an alt-country project based around her gritty lyrics and soulful melodies. It has grown into an established touring and recording outfit playing shows at The Edinburgh Fringe, Celtic Connections and beyond. The Countess of Fife's debut album, STAR OF THE SEA was released a couple of years ago loved by critics, it hit UK album charts at # 21 in the UK album charts & # 7 in the Scottish charts. The Countess has recently released a well received 4 track EP; critics hailing it as a 'scorched earth' song collection with Fay achieving recognition as a 'singer's singer'.
Fay is now well underway on The Countess of Fife album # 2, 'A Woman of A Certain Wisdom'. Fay and the gang bring some fave songs from their acclaimed first album and will preview some new material from the upcoming second album to The Harbour Arts Centre.
