Comfort & Joy is proud to present the 4th edition of Freak Chic.
Pride month is just around the corner...get it started right with this freaky fun night of community, spectacle, performance and style at the Freak Chic Pride Gala.
This year we're moving on up and are excited to bring our cheeky chic to the runway at OASIS: we'll start at 5pm with an hour to shop the stylish wares of local queer and allied artists + fashionistas at the Fashion Bazaar as you're serenaded by live jazz, visit our Pop-up Drag Closet to enhance your look with temporary tattoos, glittery body art and a little more makeup (there can never be too much)...then memorialize your gorgeous lewk with a professional photo.
The roof will be open for all the style under the sun - ticket price includes nibbles if you want to nosh, and bars will be open if you'd like to buy somebody a drink. Make sure you purchase raffle tickets if you want in on freaky fabulous prizes.
From 6-8pm the Runway Show will keep you spellbound - you'll be riveted as your eyes behold full Designer collections, showcase vignettes and performative runway art (check back soon for Designers)...there's no stopping freak pride, folks!
After the Show, Freak the Funway is your chance to show off your fierce look: spectators becomes performers, community becomes stage...then let your hair down, put on your comfy shoes and make your body move at our dance party.
