Julie Matthews is an investigative reporter turned peace officer and consumer protection expert. She was a senior investigator and peace officer with Service Alberta for ten years conducting regulatory and criminal code investigations related to consumer protection. She spent 20 years as a TV news reporter, including 10 years as Global Edmonton’s Trouble Shooter where she specialized in investigative journalism and educating the public on fraud related to unscrupulous businesses.
