Well its that time of year again folksAfter a successful event in 2023 where £15,561 was raised, we’re delighted to announce that the ‘RNLI Fraserburgh Boxing Day Harbour Swim’ is returning on Thursday 26th December 2024.
Are you up for the challenge of a 52-metre swim across Fraserburgh Harbour in the chilly North Sea?
Now in it’s fifteenth year, you’ve helped us raise over£123,561.61 for Fraserburgh Lifeboat Station and we want you to join us and take part once again this year, whilst also fundraising to help us raise vital funds.
Participants will arrive at Fraserburgh Lifeboat Station, where they will be met at a check-in tent to ensure all entrants are fully registered. From there, they will be brought into the upstairs crew room for a full safety briefing, before taken downstairs to get changed ready for the event.
A full warm-up will be included before participants make their way to the boat for their swim. Toilets and showers will be available, and we will also have our RNLI Shop open selling souvenirs, as well as a refreshments tent, offering a range of hot drinks and snacks for a donation.
Parking options are limited at the harbour and we do ask that participants and viewers make their way to the Station on foot where possible.
