Celebrate the launch of Guy MacPherson's book Fraser MacPherson: I Don't Have to Go Anywhere, I'm Already Here featuring a performance by the Cory Weeds Quartet, with Weeds on saxophone, Oliver Gannon on guitar, Russ Botten on bass, Rudy Petschauer on drums, and special guest James Danderfer on tenor saxophone.

Fraser MacPherson played for 25 years in Vancouver's supper clubs, backing such showbiz icons as Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett and Mitzi Gaynor. In 1975, when the clubs died out, Fras formed his first dedicated jazz group, releasing a self-produced album. The resulting rave reviews kickstarted an international career, including a record four tours behind the Iron Curtain.
Author and son of Fraser, Guy MacPherson, scoured the archives and interviewed numerous colleagues and friends of his father to get a full picture of the man.
