In this workshop, you will learn the various functions of the feet that help us in our daily living - mobility, agility, stability and more. You will be introduced to the anatomy of the foot and the role that each part of the foot plays in movement.
Through the Franklin method, you will experience various techniques to improve awareness of the feet and how they move to support us. Each participant will also walk away with a toolbox of Franklin method based Imagery and exercises to release and strengthen the feet to improve balance and performance.
In this course you will:
- Learn foot anatomy through fun and interactive exercises
- Learn how proper foot coordination will positively influence the entire body
- Learn exercises that can help increase the flexibility and vitality of the foot
- Experience improved function of lower leg and foot and balance

- Introduction - What is the Franklin Method
- Feet Introduction – Two main functions of the feet
- Movement with embodied function
- Brief introduction of the 26 Bones in foot
- Movement with elastic band
- Introduction to ankle joint – subtalar joint, talar joint,(+ talonavicular joint)
- Pronation & Supination – embodiment & imagery
- Movement with ball - standing
