Greetings Democrats!
Please join us for our April general meeting on Thursday, April 17, with a potluck at 5:30pm and meeting at 6pm. Our meeting will be both in person at the Pasco MCL Branch Library (1320 W. Hopkins) and on zoom (zoom link above).
We will be considering the endorsement of Amanda Brown for reelection to the Pasco School Board District 3. We will also have a presentation from the Carpenters Union Local 59 to discuss their anti-tax avoidance campaign and anti-union actions being done by the Trump Administration.
Finally, we are asking for as many volunteers as possible to walk with our float at the Cinco De Mayo parade on Saturday, May 3! The parade starts at 10am and the event is from 11am-7pm. This is a really fun event and there are large crowds who view the parade every year. We are also seeking volunteers to help man our Franklin County and Benton County Democrats booth after the parade. Volunteer shifts are mainly for 2 hours and the responsibilities include setting up/tearing down the booth if you are volunteering for the first or last shift and engaging with event goers who stop by the booth.
