Frankie & The Deadbeats
Kočovníci s kořeny jak v české krajině, tak i v americkém Nashvillu, klasické americké country a divokost v srdci. Písničky hluboké jako rýhy v prérií ošlehaných obličejích a temně zlověstné jako vytí stepních kojotů. Nadsázka i oddanost. Na scéně se objevili v roce 2021 s debutem The Shining, po dvou letech přidali album The Possibility That Love Is Not Enough, na kterém posunuli vlastní vizi country music zase o kus dál. Od zaplivaných lokálů, přes přední české festivaly, až po dvě akustické turné v USA, Frankie & The Deadbeats jsou doma všude tam, kam je zavedou cesty a kde v dálce zní teskná pedal steel kytara. Tentokrát se budou cítit jako doma v Bike Jesus (Frankie jako náš kolega obzvlášť) a přizvali si k tomu dva speciální hosty.
Matt Charette (USA)
Je součástí bostonské punkové DIY scény a do Bike Jesus přiveze nekompromisní a punkem ovlivněnou verzi Americany. Inspirovaný alternativním country Son Volt nebo Whiskeytown, stejně nejvíc přísahá na svoje punkové kořeny od Black Flag a The Clash až po bostonské klasiky SS Decontrol, Slapshot nebo Gang Green a vyznává se z lásky ke klasickému country.
Red At Night (DE)
Po mnoha letech strávených na nekonečných turné se svojí punkovou kapelou Rebels’ Bay se tenhle v Berlíně usazený zpěvák, kytarista a skladatel rozhodl pro intimnější akustickou polohu a nový projekt Red At Night. I tady se potkávají nezpochybnitelné punkové kořeny, Americana a romantický story telling.

Nomads with roots in both the Czech countryside and Nashville, classic American country and wildness in their hearts. Songs as deep as the grooves in prairie-weathered faces and as darkly sinister as the howling of steppe coyotes. Exaggeration and devotion. They appeared on the scene in 2021 with their debut The Shining, and two years later they added the album The Possibility That Love Is Not Enough, on which they pushed their own vision of country music a step further. From dirty pubs, to leading Czech festivals, to two acoustic tours in the USA, Frankie & The Deadbeats are at home wherever their paths take them and where a longing pedal steel guitar sounds in the distance. This time they will feel at home in Bike Jesus (Frankie as our colleague especially) and have invited two special guests.
Matt Charette (USA)
He is part of the Boston punk DIY scene and brings an uncompromising and punk-influenced version of Americana to Bike Jesus. Inspired by alternative country Son Volt or Whiskeytown, he still swears by his punk roots from Black Flag and The Clash to Boston classics SS Decontrol, Slapshot or Gang Green and confesses his love for classic country.
Red At Night (DE)
After many years spent on endless tours with his punk band Rebels’ Bay, this Berlin-based singer, guitarist and songwriter decided for a more intimate acoustic sound and a new project Red At Night. Here again, the unmistakable punk roots, Americana and romantic storytelling meet.
