Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade

On Saturday March 30th Louisville’s only Easter Parade returns to The Avenue! This spring the Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade hits a milestone in celebrating 30 years of unique family fun in the Crescent Hill and Clifton neighborhoods. So grab your bunny ears and hop on over to The Avenue for this family-friendly candy-filled free event.

 

This year’s Parade Grand Marshall Mark Gaff will kick things off around 11:30 a.m. in front of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church 2822 Frankfort Avenue. Hundreds will travel down the historic thoroughfare to the parade end at the corner of Frankfort Avenue and Pope Street.

 

Join us for Louisville’s most unique colorful fun-filled kangaroo hopping little car driving men sitting on a 20-foot long camel and Easter/Spring candy throwing event in the city. The day will be full of color candy and character with homemade floats dance groups antique cars and trucks. Parade entries range from the Shriners Hwang’s Martial Arts the Mounted Sheriff’s Posse “Ethan Almighty” Mexico Lindo local Churches The West Market Brass Band Professional Mermaids and many more…and don’t forget our most esteemed guest the Easter Bunny!
