Rosanna Delenta is a Greek and English singer based in South Africa with a distinguished career spanning over five decades. Beginning her musical journey at the age of 12 as a soloist with the renowned Greek band The Dolphinians, she quickly established herself as a versatile and captivating performer.
Throughout her career, Rosanna has been a lead vocalist with several prestigious bands, including Laiki Compania and Worx Band, showcasing her talent in both Greek and English music. She has performed as a headline act at esteemed venues such as Ellysee in London and Athens by Night in Johannesburg. Her musical endeavors have taken her across the globe, from Cyprus to Germany, where she shared the stage with renowned Greek musicians.
In addition to live performances, Rosanna co-wrote and performed the duet SUDAN on the Delenta album, released under EMI Records. Her presence extended to television with an appearance in the Delenta Files mockumentary on SABC. In 2011, she formed her own successful two-piece band, continuing to entertain audiences at restaurants and private functions.
Currently, Rosanna continues to share her passion for Greek music, performing regularly at various venues in South Africa, enchanting audiences with her rich vocal talent and deep-rooted connection to her cultural heritage.
