Sound Meccano is an important artist in the local electroacoustic music scene here in Rīga working steadily on the edges . He has been active for many years working in a way with the materiality of sound, using modular synthesis to craft his sound. This is very delicate thoughtful sound composition using field recordings as well as microscopic sounds . In a way Sound Meccano is an artist who paints with sound and his compositions take you into another world of sound allowing you to hear things that would otherwise be invisible .
