The North American Review welcomes author and artist Frances Cannon for a public poetry reading and art talk on Thursday, October 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Communication Arts Center 108. She is the author of the poetry collection Fling Diction and the forthcoming visual essay Undiscovered Country: A queer unearthly adventure. The North American Review is publishing an excerpt from Undiscovered Country in the fall 2025 issue and copies will be available for sale and signing, along with Fling Diction. Frances Cannon will also offer a comics workshop: Writing and Drawing Queer Ecologies at 11:00 am on Friday, October 10th in the Rod Library Scholarspace (301).
