Topic: Framing 101: for Gallery or Home
What they will cover:
• Gallery Ready-Made Frames
• Illusion Floater Frames
• Open Backs
• Canvas Stretching
• Custom Ideas
• Importance of proper hanging materials & present a variety of options for Gallery or at Home.
Join us as Kat and Emily from Jerry’s Artarama in Arlington go into depth with teaching the lingo of framing, so when you see something for a Gallery with specific requirements you know what to do. This will further enhance your ability to present your art work in a professional manner.
• Learn how to measure and wire for any dimension of work.
• Discover more permanent options that are wonderful for at home use.
Kat and Emily will have a PowerPoint Presentation as well as tangible samples to look at to better assist all learning types.
Last, they will prepare sample quotes and talk more specifically what they do at the Jerry’s Artarama in Arlington Framing Studio.
And of course, they will bring in some coupons for anyone wanting to come by the store!
For supplies, ready-made frames, or any custom framing needs.

• Visual Art League of Lewisville members are encouraged to bring a piece of artwork for the Artist of the Month. First and second place awards will be given.
• Non-members and guests are welcome to attend and learn more about the Visual Art League of Lewisville! Artists of all skill levels and visual art mediums are welcome.
