About this Event

Fragrant Flowers, Trees and Shrubs

Saturday, June 3, 2023

1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Instructor: Robert Bowden

As we venture outside after a blistering summer, this is the time of the year we can enjoy cooler evenings in the home landscape. Plants that produce pleasant fragrance, whether through leaves or blooms, deserve special attention this time of the year. These plants can be placed near patios, decks, walkways and, most importantly, by entrances to your home or lanai, where there fragrance can be appreciated. Join the Gardens' Director, Robert Bowden in a fun-filled presentation on creating fragrance in your garden.

Robert Bowden is the Director of Leu Gardens and author of Florida Top Ten Garden Guide by Sunset Books and Florida Fruit and Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Harvest the Best Edibles by Cool Springs Press.
