THIS EVENT WILL BE IN PERSON AND TAKE PLACE AT EAST WEST BOOKS & GIFTS AT 110 3RD AVE N STE 102, EDMONDS, WA.Imam Jamal will glean insights and practices embodied in verses of the Qur'an. The goal is to help us evolve into the fullness of our being, and experience joy and fulfillment by being of service to God's creation and by building authentic community. Jamal will draw upon the wisdom of Sufi mystics including Rumi, Hafez, Rabia, and the sayings of the Prophet Mohammad. Program will include chants, meditation, body movements, and Q & A. Imam Jamal is co-founder and Muslim Sufi Minister of Interfaith Community Sanctuary. He is author and co-author of nine books on spirituality and interfaith engagement. Along with his Interfaith Amigos, a Rabbi and a Pastor, he travels the country sharing a message of inclusivity.
