Fragments: Playing with Collage and Poetry Workshop with Sasha

Play is dreaming awake! In this workshop, we will explore our subconscious by playing with collage and poetry to create unique works of visual art. Beginning with nothing but recycled paper materials (books, magazines), this exercise in spontaneous creation will push you to compose unexpected phrases and fragments which will adorn your visual background--another distinct artistic composition made up of whatever images you discover speak to you. By the end of the workshop, you will have at least one completely original mini piece of art that speaks to your dream self--maybe it's utter nonsense, maybe it inspires you to finish the fragment elsewhere... or maybe, by the end, it will feel complete and whole all by itself.
