Prins Thomas | Espen Haa | g-HA & Olanskii | Marie Davidson (live)Disco, House, the concept of a club; It was all born out of the loft space and residence of David Mancuso. The godfather of the modern club as we know it today, Mancuso didn’t beat mix, he didn’t serve alcohol and he opened his home up to all the disenfranchised nocturnal pleasure seekers of New York in the 1970’s to establish what would become disco, and eventually the night club. Paradise Garage, Larry Levan, Nicky Siano, Alex Rosner, Studio 54 and Jaeger – they all owe everything to what Mancuso started in his living room all those years ago. The Loft is etched in the opening chapter of modern club music, and tonight, Prins Thomas and Espen Haa pay tribute yet again to what the Loft represents and its owner established. Jaeger’s basement is transported back in time and our Norwegian counterparts channel the spirit of a true legend through their impressive record collections.

Espen Haa
Espen Haa is DJ royalty in Oslo. Regent to the Prins he’s the brother of Thomas Moen-Hermansen and the two siblings share an incredible passion for all things music, from collecting records to making their own. A traditionalist that likes to honour the origins of DJ music, he’s a significant figure on the Oslo scene between hosting events, running labels and Djing.
Prins Thomas
Prins Thomas’ contribution to the Oslo music scene is unmatched, but his beginnings are humble. Back, way back in time, he started playing around as a DJ at a puerile age. Viewed as an extension of his break-dancing efforts, belt-driven turntables were enough to support his mix of hip hop, electro and an array of Arthur Baker’s and Shep Pettibone’s jewels. That passion for the music and the legacy of places like paradise garage has been channelled through every aspect of Prins Thomas’ being. Through his label Full Pupp and through his sets he is a musical connoisseur with unparalleled skills in the booth.
