Foxing est un groupe de rock indé américain formé en 2011 à St. Louis, Missouri. Connu pour sa capacité à brouiller les pistes, allant du genre emo au post-rock, la formation emprunte également des éléments au rock alternatif, à l'indie et à la pop expérimentale. Leur musique se distingue par des compositions complexes, des paroles introspectives et des performances intenses, à la fois émotionnelles et cathartiques.
Leur premier album, The Albatross (2013), a rapidement attiré l'attention des médias et du public alors que leur dernier né, sorti en 2021 et intitulé « Draw Down the Moon », confirme leur statut de groupe novateur, avec un son plus pop mais tout aussi savoureux. Whether oscillating between visceral noise rock and intimate bedroom cassette experiments on opener "Secret History" or cruising at the edge of collapse on "Barking," the dramatic dynamics that have long permeated Foxing's music have never felt so extreme. Five albums into a discography defined by its own restlessness, Foxing is a document of a band finding comfort in their own chaos.
