Save the Date: Saturday 21 March 2026Join us for a morning of education, inspiration, fun and local food.
The Regen Fest 2026 at the Ashbil Community Garden in Bridgetown will again engage and educate the community on key areas of our lifestyle with a focus on the Warren-Blackwood Region. We want to showcase, share and learn about how to mitigate the effects of climate change, regenerate our collective environment, and build resilient communities.
The event is also a marketplace for ideas, produce and opportunities to connect, learn and be inspired.
Local community groups will showcase their local, regen products/produce and engage with local customers.
Aims of the event are:
1. Support sustainable/regenerative practices and growers, (for example local/spray free/regeneratively farmed/home garden produce).
2. Promote a low waste or better yet, no waste message that encourages recycling, upcycling, and repurposing. We provide a wash trailer that has a full contingent of plates, bowls, cups and cutlery facilitating a zero-waste event.
3. Promote community collaboration, cohesion, and inclusivity.
4. Promote local art, music and culture.
5. Provide opportunities that encourage the community to be good stewards of the land.
From 1pm, as last event, we are planning an op-shop fashion show followed by a community gathering over a cuppa or two.
We will be building on the success of the previous three Blackwood Regen Fests. The one in 2024 was attended by over 400 happy and inspired people.
Free event, all welcome.
