About this Event

2024 Harvard Law School Black Alumnae High Tea

Join us for another elegant and inspiring afternoon of HLS Sisterhood at the Fourth Annual Harvard Law School Black Alumnae High Tea.

Event Details:

Date: July 21, 2024

Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Venue: A&O Shearman, 599 Lexington Avenue, NYC

In addition to catching up with classmates, our afternoon will highlight a fireside chat covering noteworthy current events, both on and off campus. This engaging session will feature CNN Legal Analyst and Civil Rights Attorney Areva Martin, former Netflix CDO and Diversity Consultant Verne Myers, and retired Verizon Corporate Services General Counsel and Resort CEO Michelle Ifill.

New this year, we are excited to also present a Book Salon & Reception, highlighting the literary achievements of several of our Sister authors. Signed books will be available for purchase, and there will be chances for photos.

Our HLS High Tea is a special afternoon that transcends a simple gathering. It is a celebration of sisterhood, cherished memories, and enduring connections, uniting alumnae from the 1970s to today. This is an event you won’t want to miss. Feel free to be sassy! Wear that favourite fascinator, African headgear or hat!
