Our Four Class Pottery Wheel session explores the fundamentals of throwing clay on the potter’s wheel. You'll learn how to work with clay through its various stages; from shaping raw clay, surface design techniques, to bisque, to applying the glaze. You will learn the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel; how to throw several shapes, plate throwing, and handle making. Four 90-minute sessions: Jan 31, Feb 7, 14, 21 from 10:30 am -12pm
BONUS: Get 4 additional hours of open studio time to continue practice during the four class session (clay and glaze usage charged separately)
No experience necessary. All tools and equipment included.
