About this Event
Pitch Practice - Founder Funding Groups x University of Liverpool
Our 2024 Founder Funding Group programme in partnership with University of Liverpool is culminating in a Pitch Practice event on Wednesday 4th December at Liverpool Science Park from 12 noon – 3:30pm.
The programme is kindly supported by British Business Bank.
About Pitch Practice Sessions
The session is open to any founders in the LCR and surrounding regions who are either actively raising investment, or who are in the process of planning a funding round.
This Pitch Practice session will turn the normal Founder Funding Group session format on its head. Founders will have the opportunity to practise their investment pitch to a room full of fellow founders and mentors.
Participants will:
- Get real life experience pitching to an audience
- Practise handling Q&A
- Get honest and constructive feedback on messaging, slides, delivery and presentation skills from experienced mentors before going in front of investors
- See how other founders do it
Founders will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver a 5-minute Practice pitch, with Q&A and then post pitch feedback (up to 6 slots available)
- Deliver a quick Lightning pitch (less than 2 mins) without slides if you want to try an element of your messaging
All sessions will be completely confidential, and all participants will sign confidentiality agreements before taking part.
