Empowering Women Founders. Workshop and Business Pitch Competition.
About this Event

The Founder Breakthrough Program, under Temi Scholars is an initiative designed to empower job seekers and first time entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to become successful entrepreneurs with a foundation in seeking problems within the society that are worth solving and building a business model around.

This workshop would start with a working session where we develop a business idea from scratch with a foundation in societal needs and will end with a business pitch competition where the winner receives $1000 - $5000 as an early stage investment in their business idea.

1) 5 Individuals will be given a chance to give a 5 minutes pitch each. Selected presenters will be emailed at least 48 hours before the event.

2) Pitch judging criteria will be based on a clear description of a societal problem being solved, the solution to the problem, the impact of the solution, feasibility of implementing the solution, marketing and growth strategy and the quality of the presentation.

3)The winning pitch will receive a $1000 - $5000 early stage investment.

Note: Individuals are only considered winners once a term sheet is accepted. A term sheet will be presented to the winner.
