4-week course exploring the foundations of yoga nidra: to rest deeply and awaken intuition.
About this Event

Foundations of Yoga Nidra returns after 2 successful rounds.

Tuesdays 6-7:30 pm
29 Oct, 5, 12 & 19 Nov

In this sacred container we'll learn about the 4 foundations of yoga nidra, how they can support our practice for deep rest and have the potential to awaken our intuition:

  • Inviting stillness & ease
  • The Queen practice of pratyahara
  • Pancha kosha / 5 subtle bodies
  • The Devi Yoga Nidra

Yoga nidra is predominantly known as a deep relaxation technique, and rightly so. It's effective and can teach us what true rest feels like. However, there is so much more to yoga nidra. During the practice, in no way linear, we journey through the kosha's, guiding our awareness inward. We invite the Devi to support our rest so that we can reassimilate into our true nature. Moving closer and closer to our inner knowing and that which we truly are. Closer to self-remembrance.

Each session will include:
Teachings/lecture/storytelling
A restorative yoga practice
A yoga nidra practice
Self-inquiry & free writing
Space for questions/discussion/shares
Herbal tea

All you'll need to bring is water, a pen and journal. All props are available however, you're welcome to bring your own props or items to add to your yoga nidra nest (E.g. an eye mask, a pillow, shawl, grounding items like a stone/crystal/pendant.
