Ever feel like you’re out of sync with your own needs and boundaries? Like you say yes when you mean no or you don’t even know what you mean in the first place? You’re not alone—and Foundations of Connection is here to help.
This isn’t your typical workshop. It’s hands-on engaging and designed to help you tune into what feels right (or wrong) for you so you can make decisions and build relationships with clarity and confidence.
Have no fear this isn’t some too-zen-for-words experience with chanting in the background (though I am definitely the kind of person who has more than a crystal or two). This is real grounded work to help you connect deeply with your inner yes no and maybe—and start trusting yourself in a way that feels amazing.
PLEASE NOTE: Foundations of Connection is a hands-on experience not a handsy one. While this workshop is fundamentally about recognizing and honoring one’s limits and does include some paired exercises we will not explore limits or boundaries with others through any touch-based activities.
Agenda
3:15 pm – Doors Open
Settle in grab some water and get ready for an afternoon of discovery.
3:30 pm – Welcome Circle (45 minutes)
We’ll begin with introductions and an overview of the workshop. This is your chance to get comfortable with the group and understand the structure of our time together.
4:00 pm – Embodied Exercises (4 hours with a break for dinner)
This is where the magic happens! Through a series of fun interactive activities you’ll reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom. Highlights include:
- Yes No Maybe: Practice noticing how these responses feel in your body both on your own and when interacting with others.
- Alignment Mapping: Move through space to explore what “right” feels like in your body for different scenarios.
- Tuning In Tuning Out: Explore how readiness for connection and letting go feel in your body.
- Boundary Play: Build trust in yourself and others through paired exercises that strengthen your confidence in setting and honoring limits.
- Waking Up the Hands: Reawaken your sensory awareness by exploring everyday objects with curiosity and delight.
Each exercise is followed by group discussion to help you reflect and integrate what you’ve experienced.
7:30 pm – Closing Circle (30 minutes)
We’ll wrap up with a grounding reflection to help you take what you’ve learned into your daily life. You’ll leave with practical tools fresh insights and a stronger connection to yourself and others.
8:00 pm – End of Workshop
