We have Kimberley Dunn of Idyllwild Horsemanship (www.idyllwildhorsemanship.com/about) coming up to North Devon to teach a very limited number of horses/handlers a Foundation to Liberty course (Kim pictured above).
This is ideal for all levels of equestrian & equine.
The lesson plan will be different to the last time in June 2024 - each group of 4 will have their group lesson, followed by a individual liberty start. Then there will be another group of 4 after lunch. This means there will be less waiting around.
Equipment needed:
- Parelli type rope headcollar (if you have one, normal headcollar is ok)
- long lead rope
- dressage whip / schooling whip
- lunge whip / carriage whip
- gloves
- helmet
There is good, hardstanding parking at the venue (EX34 7HN).
This clinic is in-hand, not ridden.
Further add-on clinics Kim can offer are trick training, help with stubborn loaders, long-reining, behavioural problems like napping, for example. (for another time).
Kim has an incredible background in Western Riding & Western Reining and has worked with some fantastic trainers, including Dan James of DoubleDan Horsemanship, trainer Warwick Schiller & multiple award winning TV/Film Trainer Niki Flundra.
