The Foulness Bike Ride is Southend's premier cycling event.
Starting from Cupids Country Club in Wakering, it is suitable for all ages with participants ranging from families, friends and work colleagues to cycling enthusiasts. The route gives you the choice to cycle between 11 and 23 miles and allows participants to ride the usually restricted roads of Foulness Island.
The Foulness Bike Ride enables you to raise funds for the charity of your choice or you can take part in support of our 2025 official charity: the Macmillan Information Centre at Southend Hospital who provide vital support to those affected by cancer in the Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation Trusts areas.
