Hosted by Mintless, collocated with Main Street Peddlers at 1400 S Main Street, in the Arts District.Community Cat Angels, a small local cat rescue group is holding the foster info fair so people interested in fostering cats, or volunteer for the rescue learn about our foster program and other volunteer opportunities. It's a chance to connect with current foster/volunteers, ask questions, and see several of our long term foster kitties.
Purpose:
To recruit new foster families for cats and kittens.
How it works:
Attendees can meet with foster volunteers from CCA, learn about our cat foster programs, and meet several of our current long-term foster.
Benefits for attendees:
It's a great way to learn about the responsibilities and benefits of fostering and have any questions answered.
Benefits for the cats:
Fostering provides cats with a temporary home, socialization, and preparation for adoption. It also helps rescues by freeing up space to allow more to be rescued.
What to expect:
Meeting several current cats in our program, meet with current fosters and foster coordinator, and learn about the application and screening process.
Yummy churro cupcakes and merchandise for sale. 100% of the proceeds go directly to caring for the cats.
