After a really successful first day of workshops at Pickering Grange on Sunday (where I didn't take a single photo - doh!!!) I am thrilled to announce I have booked a date in January to hold another workshop for 18th January at 10am. After feedback from participants I have made it slightly longer so it wasn't such a rush. Time wise it also fits in around the horses better.
Dismounted Rider Alignment Workshop at Pickering Grange - What does it involve?
Do you ever feel crooked in the saddle, struggle to sit evenly, or wonder why one rein feels easier than the other?
This workshop is designed to help you understand — and feel — how your own body influences your horse’s way of going.
You’ll discover where your asymmetries lie and how to build true alignment, balance, and stability in the saddle.
Here’s what’s included…
✅ Alignment Self-Assessment – learn to identify your own postural patterns and how they affect your position and aids.
✅ Intro to Pilates for Riders – targeted exercises to improve strength, core control, and body awareness.
✅ Saddle Horse Assessment – explore your balance and symmetry on a saddle horse to reveal hidden habits.
✅ Gym Ball Session – practice dynamic stability and coordination off the horse in a safe, fun way.
You’ll leave with practical tools to improve your posture, connection, and effectiveness in the saddle — both immediately and long-term.
