Join Minnesotans for Equal Rights on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 as we move Forward Together at the Rally for Equal Rights! Formerly known as #Day1forERA by ERA Minnesota, this is our collective, ever-expanding new Coalition of partners coming to the fore for equal rights.On Day 1 of the Minnesota Legislative Session we call on the elected officials to swiftly pass the Minnesota Equal Rights Amendment. Minnesotans deserve the opportunity to vote on the most expansive equal rights amendment in the country. No Minnesotan should be denied rights because of who they are or the community they belong to—and no Minnesotan should be denied the right to vote on the ERA.
The Minnesota ERA will guarantee that everyone has access to bodily autonomy, equality & freedom to live their lives without fear of discrimination. It will explicitly protect against discrimination based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, sex, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, gender identity, gender expression & sexual orientation.
