Forty Hours of Devotion offers parishioners a period of intense prayer to begin the holy Lenten season of penance, fasting, and almsgiving as we prepare for the great and holiest of seasons, Paschaltide. Mary Our Queen is pleased to invite Fr. Patrick Hough, S.J., a native of Lancashire, England, who joined the Southern Province of the Jesuits here in the United States after studying in Rome (where he met our pastor). Fr. Hough has studied, served, and lived around the world, but today he is the Director of Retreat Ministry at Grand Coteau Retreats in Louisiana, where he is doing excellent work for the Church. His spiritual insights and Christ-like presence will no doubt inspire us all.
