Fortune Kooky, a new musical comedy from Malaysia makes its regional debut right in the heart of town this August.
Created by young and upcoming theatre group KuLT Productions from Kuala Lumpur, this musical tells of the hilarious and poignant lessons of life learnt when a down-and-out entrepreneur encounters unexpected wealth. Fortune Kooky was warmly received by audiences at its Malaysian premiere in April.
Now in Singapore, for the weekend, jio your family, friends, and colleagues to its first showing in Singapore to be entertained by amusingly relatable encounters faced by various characters their pursuit of wealth and social status.
This musical comedy production is part of The Idea of North, a new annual festival organised by Global Cultural Alliance Limited. Happening from Tuesday, 16 Aug to Sunday, 28 Aug, The Idea North aims to bring Singapore and regional neighbours closer to one another through a series of events ranging from roundtable business discussion to an exchange of ideas in the form of a panel discussion and an art exhibition.
