Forthrick Moor III
For two years the Forthrick Moor Folk and Poetry Night has been St. Andrews' premiere multi-modal space; a place to share the spoken word, the sung word, the artistic performance, the unartistic performance, the bile-spitting, the tear-evoking, the calm-descending, the heart-forging, the mind-ascending, and also whatever isn't whatever all that is.
This is the last time this event will be run by founder Sam Hickford (who has recently submitted his PHD and subsequently must be referred to as a "Dr." by all those who love or hate him), and you can expect vibes of the utmost potency.
Drop-by to tune-in or tune-out; either way your presence will be in-support of the independent undergrad/postgrad creative scene. You can even give away all your money in purchase of various student's works!
"But wait", you are most definitely asking, "will you have copies of Stereoscope or Counterblast to purchase?". I'm sorry if it'll K*ll you, but we've got plenty to sell; we've even got Poems Sketched Upon the M60 (your response: "wow I will give you all my money and support and love").
It's open-mic and open-vendor. Everyone is invited to contribute--whether that means preforming, or selling. E-mail [email protected] to be put on the very long and prestigious list.
