As the liturgical year comes to a close, all are welcome to join the young adults in visiting a cemetery and offering prayers for the Church Suffering in Purgatory. 🙏🏼
Not only is this a charitable spiritual work of mercy for the often-forgotten faithful departed, but full plenary indulgences subject to the usual conditions can be earned for a soul in Purgatory during 1-8 November by those who visit cemeteries and pray for the dead.
We will meet in front of the Brighton General Cemetery Office on Main Drive at 11:30 am and walk through the cemetery grounds. Prayers for the dead will be said, accompanied by sacred music. An informal lunch at a nearby pub will follow.
