The Red Mass is an ancient tradition of the Church and Bar and is offered to invoke divine guidance and strength through the coming year.The Red Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Cathedral in Fort Worth followed by dinner and beverages served at the Fort Worth Club.
This year's guest speaker is former U.S. Congressman Dan Lipinski. Lipinski is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of Saint Ignatius Preparatory High School in Chicago, has earned two engineering degrees from Northwestern University and Stanford University, as well as a Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University. After teaching American Politics as an assistant professor, he served 16 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has written for The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, First Things, America, and Public Discourse. Former Congressman Lipinski also serves on the boards of Lewis University, Empower Illinois, and the Belmont House in Washington.
