It’s strategic location made it a logistical pillar for campaigns, expeditions, supplies, and the medical care for soldiers throughout the war.

Join Josh Ford, a living historian with the 99th New York, Company D, to learn about Freedom’s Fortress during the Civil War, and take a closer look at period artifacts from the museum’s collections, on display for one night only!
