Come join us in building oyster rag pots at Fort Hamer Park. This is hands-on habitat restoration disguised as a fun crafting project!About this Event
Join ORE in creating Oyster Rag Pots with cotton rags and cement. These ORPs will be placed in targeted areas of the Manatee River to rebuild oyster reefs, which naturally filter water and enhance local habitat. Wear comfortable and cool old clothes and shoes that may get drips of cement on them. This event will be held in the small pavilion at Fort Hamer Park.
