Join us for our special event commemorating Fort Fisher's 160th Anniversary on January 18th, 2025! ***PROGRAM SCHEDULE POSTED***General admission is FREE, no tickets required for entry. Doors open at 9:00am and close at 5:00pm. Public programs will be held between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
View these programs below, many of which will be performed by costumed reenactors (participation by invitation only):
-Living History and Community Group Displays- Connect with our community and explore details of daily life during the Civil War!
-Infantry and Artillery Demonstrations- Witness military drills and the firing of the Fort's guns!*
-Above the Scenes Guided Tours- Learn the history of Fort Fisher's land and people!**
-Special Guest Presentations and Book Signings- See the posted Program Schedule for details on the guest speakers and their topics!
*Demonstrations to be held at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00:pm, and 4:00pm. Infantry and Artillery will demonstrate together at each time slot.
**Tickets for Above the Scenes Tours cost $10 per person, purchased at the first-floor Info Desk in the Visitor Center. Tours to be offered at 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm.
Please consider carpooling with friends and family wherever possible! Limited extra parking is available at Battle Acre Road. The gate to the main parking lot is to be locked at 5:00pm.
