The L.E. Meador Center at Drury University is turning 10 years old! To celebrate, we have lined up what is sure to be a very interesting and thought-provoking set of speakers for our Speaker Series: A Decade of the Meador Center. Please join us for the first in a series of THREE scheduled Meador Speaker Series events this year.
Kicking off our series, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Colleen Shogan, immediate past Director of the National Archives in Washington, D.C.!
Dr. Shogan made history as the 11th Archivist of the United States—and the first woman ever appointed and confirmed to that position.
Join us as she speaks on “Preserving History in Polarized Times” on Thursday, September 25—which also happens to be Drury’s 152nd birthday! (We didn't actually plan it that way--but it's a happy coincidence nonetheless)
Details:
Who: Dr. Colleen Shogan
What: Conversation on "Preserving History in Polarized Times"
Date: Thursday, September 25, 2025

Where: Washington Avenue Baptist Church (on the Drury campus)

We hope to see you there!
