The Close Quarters is a form that takes place in a single, confined, and often mundane location. Unlike the Monoscene, there are blackouts between scenes, and the show can jump forward or backward in time within the same location. The goal is to explore the hidden lives, secrets, and relationships that exist within a shared space.
In this workshop we will explore time jumps and deep character creation.
