About the Speaker – Robert I. Girardi: Robert I. Girardi is a respected historian with a master’s degree in Public History from Loyola University Chicago. A lifelong Civil War enthusiast, he has studied battlefields, collected artifacts, and immersed himself in the letters and diaries of soldiers. Robert has held leadership roles in Civil War Round Tables, served on historical boards, and contributed to numerous publications. A frequent speaker at schools, libraries, and historical societies across the country, he is known for his engaging storytelling and deep knowledge of American military history.
