Forklifts are perhaps the most versatile & commonly used machinery used in Industry.
While most industrial workplaces have at least one forklift, this is High Risk Equipment & operators need to be properly trained & licenced.
High Risk Work National Licences are valid across Australia & are for Forklifts of any capacity.
COURSE CONTENT SUMMARY
At the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to safely inspect & operate a forklift.

• Pre-Start inspections
• Start up operational checks
• General Operations
• Rated Capacity
• Load Centre Principles
• Calculations of load weight
• Shut Down
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
• Applicants must be over 18 & have a good grasp of English & a basic ability for math.
• Pre-Study material is issued for this course.
WHAT DO I DO ON THE DAY?
• Training is a combination of theory, practical & assessment—16 hours over two days.
WHAT DO I GET ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE?
On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0003—Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck.
A notice of satisfactory assessment is issued & the applicant is required to take this to any Australia Post outlet within 60 days, along with 100 points of ID & Worksafe licence fee.
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
