About this Event
Firends of the River Kelvin Trust invite you to roll up your sleeves and join us in the Ha'Penny Brdge House garden for a day of clearing, composting, and planting run by green fingered experts from The Conservation Volunteers Scotland and supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. Together, we’ll continue the work we started earlier this autumn by finishing up the W**d clearing, turning the compost, and creating new growing beds for woodland species beneath our beautiful oak tree. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local environment, learn about sustainable gardening practices, and make a tangible difference in our community space.
The event will run from 10:00-13:00 on Saturday 14th December 2024, with food and refreshments available for all those attending.
We have room for about 15 participants, so be sure to register soon!
We can also offer help with transport to / from the event and help with covering the cost of any travel expeses.
Please contact [email protected] if you have any further questions.
We look forward to seeing you on the day!
